PROFESSOR RORY BARRETT

Rory Barrett holds a black belt in Brazilian BJJ. Rory was born in Dublin, Ireland. Growing up near Cork City on the south coast of Ireland Rory played rugby and was an avid sailor. After graduating from University at Imperial College in London in 1991 Rory immigrated to Southern California. Rory moved to Colorado with his family in 2003. Rory started Jiujitsu in 2014 under Professor Ryan. Rory recently received his Purple Belt from Professor Ryan in October 2019. An avid competitor Rory has competed in 14 tournaments. When Rory travels (mostly for work) the most important thing for him to pack is a gi or two. From when he was a white belt to today Rory has trained in France, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Ireland and French Guiana in addition to many gyms in the USA.
